Harbin VEIC Technology Co., Ltd, established in October, 1996 and registered in Harbin High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, is a high-tech enterprise invested and held by Harbin Science & Technology Research Institution affiliated to Harbin Railway Bureau with a registered capital of RMB37 million. It mainly deals in safety monitoring, repair of railway vehicles; research, development, manufacture and technical service of energy-saving, automatic identification equipments and dedicated software products, and it also has the self-management right in Import & Export trade. The company has passed the attestation of ISO9001:2000 version international quality control system in 2001, and in 2003, a "postdoctoral research work station" is set up under approval of the Personnel Ministry of the State. The company has a strong economic and technical power, and has been awarded as "Advanced Unit, Excellent Enterprise, Competitive Products Enterprise, Advanced High-Tech Enterprise" successively.

Structure of the Organization

The company has its holding subsidiary companies, such as Beijing Tian Wei Technology Co., Harbin VEIC Rail Transport Technology Development Co., Ltd, etc, and the business scope of the company involve computer network, software, intelligent transport, logistic management, highway, urban metro, etc. At present, VEIC is developing towards the direction of collectivization and scale.

The company now has 202 employees, of which employees with a degree above post secondary college level occupy 97%, employees with a degree above university level occupy 75%, employees with senior titles take up 25%, and two specialists enjoys government allowance, one senior engineer won the title of the leader of a certain subject awarded by the Ministry of Railways and eight persons won the title of excellent technology talents awarded by the Ministry of Railways.
